Alan Brown
Chairman
Alan has many years of executive experience in the pest control industry and other B2B services industries.
Former CEO of Rentokil (2008-2013), he grew the company's operating profit from GBP 82m in 2008 to 171m in 2013, increased focus on operational excellence and safety, and ensured Rentokil's leading global position as a market leader in technology.
Former CEO of Vistra (2019-2022), leading consolidation platform in the Trust & Corporate Services industry, former CEO ASCO (2014-2018), international oil & gas services business in addition to 25 years of experience at Unilever, latterly running the business in China.
Romain Launois
CFO
Romain has deep experience in M&A and financing from his time in investment banking at Barclays Investment Bank and leading the M&A activities of Emeria, a Partners Group portfolio company providing services to the residential property industry.
At Emeria, he held several positions within M&A and Corporate Finance, most notably as Head of M&A and Deputy CFO - VP Finance & Corporate Development. He also has entrepreneurial experience as Co-Owner of J&R Group, a buy and build platform in education services.
Marcus Watson
CEO
Marcus is an entrepreneurial, hands-on, values-led CEO with many years’ experience in the ‘real world’ B2B services industry.
Putting people at the centre of everything he does and embracing innovation and technology to deliver an outstanding customer service, he led Ground Control to become the UK’s #1 external property services company (6,000 colleagues, £200m turnover, £24m EBITDA). Ground Control was awarded one of the “100 Best Companies to Work For” and two Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Marcus believes that business is a force for good and that, as business leaders, we have the responsibility to build vibrant and sustainable companies that care for the environment and the communities we serve.
Caspar Appeldoorn
Head of Corporate & Business Development
Caspar has many years of international executive experience in the pest control sector and other industries and long experience (20+ years) within M&A including several acquisitions and integrations and has built businesses in several geographies incl. the UK, Ireland, France, South Africa, and the Middle East.
Caspar has 23 years of experience in the pest control industry as the former Managing Director for EMEA at Rollins (2019-2023) during which he increased revenues by 3x. He supported the growth of Rollins to become a leading player in UK, France, South Africa, and China. Prior to this, he was VP & General Manager Ecolab Pest EMEA (1995-2014).
